Arlene R. (Austin) Tibbe

Mrs. Arlene R. Tibbe, age 84 years of Fremont, passed away on Saturday evening, December 16, 2017 at Fountain View Retirement Village of Fremont.  She was born on April 23, 1933 in Fremont, Michigan to Robert & Zelma (Milner) Austin.  Arlene was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont.  On March 14, 1953 she married Arthur Jay Tibbe and after 60 years of marriage he preceded her in death on September 24, 2013, also at the age of 84.  Arlene was also preceded in death by her parents Robert & Zelma Austin, and by her daughter Lavon Lynn "Vonnie" Tibbe in 1979.  She is survived by her children:  Deb (Tony) Norkus, Steve Tibbe, Jill (Jeff) Hiltner, Mark (Tammy) Tibbe; daughter-in-law, Terri Tibbe; 12 grandchildren:  Reid, Peter and Marta Norkus, Jake (Julianne) Tibbe, Drew Tibbe, Cody Tibbe, Randi Hiltner, Niki (Chris) Monroe, Carlee (Justin) Ferguson, Laura, Travis, & Colton Tibbe; 16 great grandchildren:  Janie, Axel, & Naomi Tibbe, Nova Tibbe, Carlos, Jaida, Elivia, & Lyric Tibbe, Peighton Thomas, Jace, Lynna, & Nash Monroe, Jaylin & Julius Ferguson, Raelynn Siegel, & Paisley Tibbe; 1 brother, Larry Austin; several sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law; and many nieces & nephews.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont (721 Hillcrest Drive) with Rev. Drew Sweetman officiating.  Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 5-7 PM on Tuesday.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Suggested Memorial:  The First Christian Reformed Church Endowment Fund at the Fremont Area Community Foundation.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
