Welcome to the memorial page for

Barbara "Barbi" Ann (Eaton) Atwood

December 12, 1960 ~ October 20, 2017 (age 56) 56 Years Old

On October 20, 2017, an amazing angel of earth earned her wings. Barbara Ann Atwood passed away peacefully at her home after her battle with ALS. Although she was a very private person, she had a very big personality that she used to show her family all of the love she had for them. This was even more true for her husband of thirty-eight years, Tim Atwood; their children, Erica, Tim Jr. (Kim), Robert (Mandy), and all of her grandchildren.

Barbi was an avid music lover who had a special ear for the Beatles and Elvis. She would look forward to her birthday every year because it meant that it was time to decorate her home and even more important, the Christmas tree. She was also an art enthusiast who had many spectacular creations. One of  her favorite memories being at the art museum and meeting Nigel Barker.

A mother, a teacher, a wife, a best friend, and a grandmother are just a few of the many roles that she perfectly played throughout her life. There is not a thing about her that won't be missed.

Barbi has chosen to be cremated without a funeral. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider donating to The ALS Association to help fund research to put an end to ALS for good.  You can sign the online guestbook at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
