Betty Fern (Dumont) King

Mrs. Betty Fern King, age 85 years of Newaygo, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Transitional Health Services of Fremont. She was born on October 24, 1931 in Flint, Michigan to Alexander & Della (Gage) Dumont. Betty had a passion for arts & crafts, and she was admired for her homemade apple pie. On December 18, 1977 she married Jay King, and he preceded her in death on November 5, 2005.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Dixie Stinson; step son-in-law, Ernie Sutliff; by her parents; and by 1 brother.  Betty is survived by her children: Sidney Babula of Grand Rapids, Kathy (Glenn) Davis of Arkansas, Barbara Ann Adams of Grand Rapids; son-in-law, Mark Stinson of Grand Rapids; step-children: Mike &Linda King of Newaygo, Larry & Ann Woodward of Virginia, & Starr Sutliff of New Mexico; many grandchildren & great grandchildren; and by 4 brothers & 1 sister.
