Dear Pat and Arie,
We pray that the wonderful memories of your father will carry you through the tough moments which will occur during your time of sorrow. May the hope, faith and promises of God’s love blanket our heart.
Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.

My special memories include how Carl and Virginia took our family under their wings when our dad died. He taught us kids how to work; and I remember that he took me to the father/son banquets at church. And I, also, will never forget those famous last words, "Fill your pails and quit."--no megaphone needed. With our deepest sympathy and love as we remember Carl.

Dear Norm and Kathy, so sorry to hear of your dad's passing; I did not know that you had so many brothers and sisters. I feel for all of you. Death is always hard on those left behind...

My deepest sympathies to the Sneller family. I have many great summer memories of picking (and throwing) cherries at Sneller Orchards and snapping off those tasty apples on crisp autumn Saturdays with my dad. I can proudly say I managed to not get fired for throwing cherries despite Carl's many warnings of "if I catch you doing that one more time you're fired." Thank goodness for second chances! I still smile when I think about Carl pronouncing in his characteristic loud voice for all to hear that I had the high count in pails of cherries picked for one day. Thoughts of Carl and Sneller Orchards are numerous in my pail of memories at this time. Carl, your time to "fill your pail and quit" has arrived. Thanks for contributions to so many of our pails.

Oh my goodness. I can still hear his welcome call: "Fill your pails and quit!!!" Thanks for that memory.

I have had the pleasure to have worked for Him and be a close friend as well. the memories come flowing through my mind, most very good, like our trip to Nebraska. and the one time He set me straight, not the right way or wrong way but Carl's way. after some 20 years I learned. He was and is a mighty man, a great family man , and God has Him by His side.
