Charles "Charlie" S. Price

Mr. Charles "Charlie" S. Price, age 89 years of Fremont, went Home to be with his Lord & Savior on Tuesday morning, August 23, 2016.  He was born on July 8, 1927 in Fremont, Michigan to Ervin E. & Frances (Roush) Price.  Charlie had been employed at Gerber Products Company for 25 years until his retirement, and he was a doctor of motors.  After his retirement, he enjoyed tennis, golf, billiards, & traveling.  He also attended First Congregational Church of Fremont.  On March 13, 1948 he married Virginia "Ginny" Brimmer, and she survives him along with 3 children:  Pastor David (Sondra) Price of Raleigh, North Carolina, Art Price of Grant, Cindy (Al) Bonter of Kent City; 6 grandchildren:  Gina (Ron) Nickell, Mike (Sue) Price, Nelson (Lindy) Bonter, Laura (Eric) Newkirk, Chani (Jason) Ellick, Sara McDowell; 17 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandson; and 1 brother, Orville (Wanda) Price of Holton. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Steve Price; 1 grandson, Gregory Price; and by his brothers & sisters:  Arthur Price, Lemoine Price, Carol Hughes, Gloria Tibbe, & Donald Price.  Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at First Congregational Church of Fremont (714 Hillcrest Drive) with his son, Pastor David Price officiating.  A luncheon will immediately follow the service at church, and interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
