Donna L. (Paxson) Cassini

Mrs. Donna L. Cassini, age 93 of Fremont, passed away on Saturday morning, August 12, 2017 at Transitional Health Services of Fremont.  She was born on January 26, 1924 in Fremont, Michigan to Marshall & Nettie (Johnson) Paxson.  Donna loved to golf and she had been a member of Northwood Golf Course in Fremont.  She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bowling, reading, playing cards, and going to water exercise at the old Fremont High School pool and also at the Tamarac.  On September 7, 1950 she married Edward E. Cassini and he preceded her in death on January 14, 2013.  She was also preceded in death by several brothers & sisters.  She is survived by 4 children:  Debra Cassini of Fruitport, Vicki (Henry) Fuller of Fremont, Bill (Candace) Cassini of Shelbyville, MI., Julie (Doug) Hocking of Shelbyville, MI.; 9 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren; and 1 brother, Harold (Gerry) Paxson of Manistee.  There will be a luncheon and time of visiting with the family from 1-3 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church in Fremont  (51 W.
