My condolences to Eda's family. I enjoyed working with Eda when she was involved with the Commission on Aging and AARP board and many activities and fundraisers. She was a true advocate for the programs.

Over the years, we were honored to attend many of the same family functions as Bill and Eda. Sometimes my own mother was invited as well as the two women shared the same two grandchildren. When she was there, she and Eda carried on elaborate conversations for the entire time. What a sweet woman Eda was. She always had a twinkle in her eyes and a smile on her face. She was welcoming, inclusive, and ever so gracious. She also was quick-witted and I recall many occasions where she had us all in stitches. The world was a better place with Eda in it. She will be missed dearly by her family and all those who knew her. My sincere sympathy is extended to the entire family.

I became friends with Eda and Bill years ago when we were in AARP together... had such good times together down at the Commission on Aging here in White Cloud. I know that she is in a better place now. Thank you, God, for allowing me to become friends with her and Bill. Rest in Peace, Eda.

This is a woman who shined with life & joy. She was so kind, welcoming & interested in the people around her! She loved to be with people. Family & friends met so much to her. I have nothing but sweet memories of her. And she always walked into a room it seemed with a smile & happy eyes. I love the picture you posted..it captures her perfectly. Balm for the soul that picture is! I have been sad at her passing for you all, my dad, mom & myself. Sad for the time we now must wait to see her again yet so very thankful to the Lord that she is in His presence & with our other loved ones. My love & prayers to each of you cousins.
