Ellen H. (Lydens) (Larson) LaNore

Mrs. Ellen H. (Larson) LaNore, age 90 years of Fremont, passed away on Monday evening, July 3, 2017 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont.  She was the oldest of 3 daughters born to Jay & Lucille Mary (Dyer) Lydens on July 23, 1926 in Shelby, Michigan.  She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fremont where she had been a faithful and loving servant, and she had been employed by Gerber Products Company for many years until her retirement on October 1, 1986.  Ellen loved her garden, music, and playing golf.  She was married to Edward Larson and he preceded her in death in 1962.  On July 31, 1980 she married Charles "Chuck" LaNore, Sr. and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2017.  She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Mueller.  Survivors include 3 children:  Arlene (Ron) Mansfield, David (Mary) Larson, Karen (Tim) Roggatz; 3 step-children:  Charles (Kim) LaNore, Jr., Lisa (Scott) Harrison, Steve (Gera) LaNore; 5 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren,step-grandchildren,  & step-great grandchildren.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fremont (680 E. Main Street) with Rev. James Schouweiler officiating.  Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 5-7 PM on Thursday.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Suggested Memorial:  Lutheran Bible Translators, P.O.
