Howard L. Pell

Mr. Howard L. Pell, age 87 years of Fremont, went to be with his Lord & Savior on Friday evening, August 11, 2017.  He was born on May 1, 1930 in Fremont, Michigan to George & Dena (Tubergen) Pell.  Howard was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War, and he was a lifetime dairy farmer.  He was a charter member of Trinity Christian Reformed Church in Fremont, and he loved to travel which included spending the last 26 winters in Arizona.  On February 5, 1952 he married Bernice Brummel and she preceded him in death on January 4, 2014.  He was also preceded in death by his grandson Brian Pell, and by his sister Evelyn Krikke.  He is survived by 5 sons:  Gary (Debra) Pell, Dan (Gladys) Pell, Andy (Sharon) Pell, Joseph (Renee) Pell, Tom (Merri) Pell all of Fremont; 16 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters:  Vonnie (John Vood) VanderPloeg of Muskegon, Donna (Zane) Clark of Phoenix, Arizona; and 1 brother, Jim (Jan) Pell of Jenison.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Trinity Christian Reformed Church in Fremont (539 E. Pine Street) with Pastor Ron Baker officiating.  Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 6-9 PM on Monday.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Suggested Memorial:  Spectrum Health Hospice.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
