Our love to each of the family. We would have liked to have been able to be there but it didn't work out for us to come.
We have very fond memories of your dad and grandfather. On several occasions we had the privilege of having your dad and mom in our home on their visits to Arizona to see Uncle Ray and Aunt Helen and it was always a joy to have them. Your Dad was such a gentle quiet man but a tremendous example to us in his faithful walk with the Lord. We are so thankful he is with "Christ which is far better" and know that was his desire. We are thankful too to have had the chance for one last visit with him the last time we were in Michigan. He was a dear man and though I know you are all thankful he is Home now, you will feel the loss as well and we do pray for each of you in that regard. "Whose faith follow." Hebrews 13:7

My dear cousins - Ralph, John and Susan,
I am so sorry to not be able to be with you as you lay your Dad, Uncle John, to rest. What a change this brings to the entire Roossinck family as the last of our parents generation is now gone.
I am imagining an amazing "family reunion" in heaven as each sibling tells stories of God's grace and mercy in their lives. And are they peeking down on their own children at the same time, part of that "great cloud of witnesses" that God's Word speaks of?
There will be a hole left in your hearts, and mine grieves with each of yours. And for the extended family as well as you all grieve together. May God strengthen each of you.
And PS. When I was a little girl, Uncle John was always my favorite. He was always so "safe. '

We rejoice with you that Uncle John is now absent from the body and present with his Lord and Saviour - his desire for so long. Being recipients of his kindness and loving interest and sitting under his teaching in the assembly, Uncle John blessed us in so many ways. He was a godly example of a gentleman and a husband. We wish we could be with you during this time and are praying for you all.

Dear John, Shirley and family,
We grief with you at this time and rejoice at the home call of your father/grandfather. It was good to meet and spend time with you all a few years past and now we can look forward together again with our Heavenly Father. Our love and sympathy to you all.

Ralph, John and Susan, I would so like to come to the memorial but many things prevent it. I am very glad I had several short visits with your dear father last May and several dinners with both of your parents at the Facility in recent years. They were an inspiration to me as to many others. This week I think of John, Shirley and Mary together enjoying the company of our blessed Lord Jesus.

Formerly living very near the Roossinck farm, I stopped by so many times to buy plumbs, pears, apples and cider from this kind and gentle man. More importantly, I had the welcome opportunity for very pleasant visits with John. He will be remembered! My deepest sympathy to the family.
