Judith K (Pell) Conn

Mrs. Judith K. (Pell) Conn, age 71 years of Fremont, went to be with her Lord & Savior peacefully in her sleep at her home early Thursday morning, February 16, 2017.  She was born on July 25, 1945 in Fremont, Michigan to Milo & Eileen (Wolfsen) Pell.  Judith served as an educator at various levels in the Fremont Public School system for many years.  Her love for children also led her to be active in 4-H, and to be a Sunday School Teacher at her church, First Reformed Church in Fremont.  In addition, she assisted her husband Michael in both of his careers, farming & truck driving.  Judith's greatest joy was in helping others in any way that she could!  On August 13, 1965 she married Michael R. Conn and he survives her along with 3 children:  Nancy (Chris) Collins of Fowlerville, Michigan, Mark Conn of Reno, Nevada, Brian (Christi Diaz) Conn of Louisville, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren:  Carter, Connor, & Caden Collins, Lily Dailey, Joshua Diaz, Mackenzie & Noah Conn; brothers & sisters:  Ken Pell of Fremont, Sue (Tom) Tibbe of Fremont, Peggy (Dan) McGrady of Fremont, Betty (Mike) Warren of Fremont, Kevin (Dawn) Pell of Grant; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law:  Barbara (Russell) Read of Elm Hall, Michigan, Richard (Betty) Conn of Alma, Michigan, David (Betty) Conn of Celina, Ohio; and many nieces & nephews.  Judith was preceded in death by her parents; by her brother, Jack Pell; by her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Francis & Mary Conn; and by her brother-in-law, Larry Conn.  The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 20, 2017 at First Reformed Church in Fremont (348 E. Main Street) with Pastor Jason Semans officiating.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 2-5 PM on Sunday.  Suggested Memorial:  Love Inc. - Newaygo County.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
