Karry Mae (Pekel) Benaway

Mrs. Karry Mae Benaway, age 62 years of Fremont, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at her residence.  She was born on January 28, 1954 in Fremont, Michigan to Russell & Betty (Nielson) Pekel.  Karry had been a member of the Fremont Moose Lodge #1555.  She is survived by 2 children:  Terri (Fiance Greg Lieffers) Homfeld of Fremont, Chad (Chanda) Galvin of Texas; 6 grandchildren:  Paige, Travis, Dakota, Chad, Piper, & Crew; brothers:  Dan & Dave Pekel; sisters:  Jane Kamphorst, Corey Lathrop, Peggy DeYoung, & Carla McFadden; and many nieces & nephews.  Karry was preceded in death by her parents, and by her brother Kenny Pekel.  There will be no visitation or service, and interment will be in Sherman Township Cemetery.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
