I was a student of Mrs. Purcell, and I always enjoyed her classes! I can remember her visiting our classes in Elementary school and then I had the opportunity to take regular classes with her in High School...she was such an encourager and inspiration in art and life. Anytime I doodle in my sketch book or decide to try a new art medium, I think back on her lessons and appreciate the time she poured into me and the rest of her students. Sh was a great woman and will surely be missed! Prayers extended to the family!

Linda was my art teacher throughout high school. She was my mentor in a lot of ways and a very special person to me. She gave me the courage to go to art school and this made me the art teacher I am today. I am so glad I was able to tell her "Thank you" for all she had done for me. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
