Marian E. (Deuling) Hayes

Mrs. Marian E. Hayes, age 90 years of Fremont, passed away on Sunday afternoon, April 2, 2017 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont.  She was born on February 27, 1927 in Muskegon, Michigan to Gerrit & Wilma (Boeskool) Deuling.  She stayed home and raised her family, and enjoyed knitting, catering, and baking for others.  She was especially known for her cinnamon rolls.  On September 7, 1946 she married Fred V. Hayes, Jr. and he preceded her in death on April 22, 2014.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers:  Benard, Fritz, & Carl Deuling.  Survivors include 4 children:  Janice (Tim) Stroven, Sue (Scott) Binkley, LuAnn (Dennis) DeKuiper, Mark (Karrie) Hayes; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, & 3 great great grandchildren; 1 brother, Norman (Mariann) Deuling; and 1 sister-in-law, Geraldine Deuling.  The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home with Julie Dykman officiating.  Visitation will also be at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Friday.  Interment will be in Sherman Township Cemetery.  Suggested Memorial:  Spectrum Health Hospice.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
