Marie T. Wellman

Mrs. Marie T. Wellman, age 98 years of Fremont, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Metron of Big Rapids.  She was born on December 1, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois.  Marie was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont.  On August 24, 1946 she married Lyle E. Wellman and he preceded her in death on September 8, 2006.  She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Troy West.  Marie is survived by 5 children:  Paul (Paula) Wellman, Margo West, Lisa (Gary) Keyes, Ross (Laurie) Wellman, Renee Mosher; 11 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 9, 2016 at All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont (500 Iroquois) with Fr. Sahaya Stanly as Celebrant.  Interment will be in Newaygo Cemetery.  Visitation will also be at the church from 10-11 AM on Friday.  Suggested Memorials:  All Saints Catholic Church, or the Fremont Area District Library.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
