My condolences to the Scott family, the bible describes a God of comfort, "who comforts us in our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." ( 2 Corinthians 1:3,4) May God comfort you during this difficult time.

Donna, I am so sorry for your loss. I just saw the posting (Thursday evening) or I would have been at the visitation. Sending hugs.

What a great friend we have lost. "Mr. Nice Guy" is not my uncle, but for as long as my family has known him we've always considered him as one. So many memories come to mind over so many years. Mark was indeed "Mr. Nice Guy" and more than that he was "Mr. Funny Guy" and the "Neighborhood Uncle". Both him and Donna were very kind and growing up on the same block (and for many years right next door to them), we always knew we were welcome to their home and their hearts. Mark played a huge role in making being a kid fun for my brothers and I. One thing in particular I know we all remember and will probably never forget (lol) is his playful nature, especially around Halloween. I think we helped him in a way too. It was times like this he turned into a kid again. With his sense of humor though, he was truly always a kid at heart. What I learned from him can not be taught by a book, only experience of just simply being kind to your neighbors. He showed us that no matter what life may bring, we have to keep that humor. And maybe most importantly, never lose the kid at heart. Thank you for the good times and the funny, unforgettable memories. "Mr. Nice, Funny, and All Around Good Guy"...
Thank you for simply being You.
You will surely be missed.

Love and prayers to you and your family during this difficult time.
