Mary Ann Henry

Mrs. Mary Ann Henry, age 79 years of Big Blue Lake, went to be with her Lord & Savior early Monday morning, February 26, 2018 at her home with her family by her side.  She was born on October 20, 1938 in White Cloud, Michigan to John & Anna Mae (Mumper) Homan.  She had been employed by K-Mart on Henry Street in Muskegon for several years, and she was a member of Holton United Methodist Church.  Mary Ann enjoyed camping, collecting antiques and salt & pepper shakers, and being active in the lives of her children & grandchildren.  On September 1, 1956 she married Donald R. Henry and he survives her along with 2 children:  Terry (Sara) Henry, Kim (Scott) Schlee; 5 grandchildren:  Matthew Henry, Kevin (Amanda) Schlee, Daniel (Jessica) Schlee, Jennifer (Dave) LaChapelle, Heather Murphey; 6 great grandchildren:  Calvin, Ashtyn, Brittany, & Zachary Schlee, Olivia & Jackson LaChapelle; and 3 brothers:  Donald Homan, William Horton, & Dennis Horton.  Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; by her step-father, William F. Horton; and by her brother, Robert Homan.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Holton United Methodist Church (9530 Holton Duck Lake Road) with Pastor Jerry Selleck officiating.  Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 6-8 PM on Thursday.  Interment will be in the Spring at Oakwood-Holton Cemetery.  Suggested Memorials:  The Holton United Methodist Church Youth Building, or Harbor Hospice.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
