Peter J. TerVeer II

Mr. Peter J. TerVeer II, age 63 of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 6, 2017 in Jupiter, Florida.  He was born on January 28, 1954 in Chatham, Ontario, Canada to Albert John & Jean Catherine (Meijer) TerVeer.  Pete had owned & operated TerVeer Trucking for many years, and he was a farm boy at heart.  He had been a member of First Reformed Church in Fremont where he had served as a Deacon.  He loved to go camping with his family at Silver Lake.  He is survived by his wife in Florida, Carolyn Buchanan.  Additionally, he is survived by his son Peter John TerVeer III, daughter Brittni Lynne TerVeer and his two grandchildren Alayna and Jonathan Thompson, and the mother of his children Patricia TerVeer; his parents Albert & Jean TerVeer, twin brother John TerVeer, brother Robert (Trena) TerVeer, sister Nancy (David) Riness, brother Ken (Carrie) TerVeer, many nieces & nephews all of Fremont.  He has many aunts, uncles, & cousins from Canada & the Netherlands.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at First Reformed Church in Fremont (348 E. Main Street) with Pastor Greg Johnson officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church from 10-11 AM on Saturday.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home to help his children with funeral expenses.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
