Mr. Philo Ramon Garza, age 68 years, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at his son's home in White Cloud, Michigan. He was born on January 13, 1948 in Muskegon, Michigan to Exiquio & Agnes (Chingman) Garza II.  Philo was an avid fisherman, enjoyed stone polishing and jewelry making, and loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends on Lake Michigan. Philo especially enjoyed the fishing trips with the Rosenhaus family on Lake Michigan. Above all else, Philo was proud of his Native Heritage. He was a citizen of the Pokagon Band of Potawanami Indians located in Dowagiac, Michigan. He was a devoted husband, a caring brother and a friend to many. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou (Sineway) Garza; children: Anthony (Renea) Garza, Mindy Garza, stepson Ronald J. Whiteloon; brother Esiquio (Russ) (Barbara) Garza III; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and a sister.  A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Sytsema Funeral Home - Lee Chapel (6291 Harvey Street, Norton Shores) with Rev.
