Raymond Charles Thompson

Mr. Raymond Charles Thompson, age 87 years Hesperia, passed away on Monday evening, October 17, 2016 at his home.  He was born on February 17, 1929 in Muskegon, Michigan to Ray & Beulah (Deneke) Thompson.  He had been employed by Rohr Aircraft in San Diego, California, by Lockheed Missiles & Space Company in Sunnyvale, California, and then by Gerber Products Company in Fremont for 10 years until his retirement in 1980.  On June 11, 1948 he married Margie Olsen and she survives him along with 3 children:  Angie Tanis of Fremont, Dean Thompson of Fremont, Nancy (Greg) Dodson of Kentucky; 4 grandchildren:  Ron & Shane Tanis, Ashley & Amber Acuna; 1 great granddaughter, Haley Tanis; 1 sister, Gloria (Dick) Dodge of Hesperia; 2 brothers:  Bob Thompson of Arizona, and Levi Thompson of Fremont.  He was preceded in death by his son, Barry Thompson in 2015; and by 2 brothers, Lewis & Neal Thompson.  According to his wishes cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or service.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
