Robert "Bob" L. Bultman

Mr. Robert L. "Bob" Bultman, age 83 of Fremont, went to be with his Lord & Savior on Monday evening, April 17, 2017.  He was born on April 13, 1934 in Fremont, Michigan to Evert & Hattie (Zagers) Bultman.  Bob was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont, and he had owned & operated Bultman's Thriftway for many years.  He later went to work at Bill's Shop-N-Save in Fremont as the Meat Department Manager for several years until his retirement.  Bob had been active in the Fremont Community for many years, he loved all sports, he was a University of Michigan fan, and he enjoyed playing golf and he loved to fish.  He also enjoyed spending winters in Arizona for many years.  On March 22, 1955 he married Carol L. Sabin and she survives him along with 6 children: Tom (Judy) Bultman of Hamilton, MI., Jane (Mark) Fox of Deckerville, MI., Mary (Pearse) Dervan of Las Vegas, NV, Sue (Brian) Crisp of St Louis, MO., Steve (Brooke) Bultman of Newport News, VA., Bruce (Kristen) Bultman of Zeeland, MI.; 13 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Joanne (Larry) Boerman; 3 brothers:  Stan (Marcia) Bultman, David (MaryJo) Bultman, & Andy (Kathy) Bultman; 1 sister-in-law, Marva Williams; and many nieces & nephews.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 21,  2017 at First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont (721 Hillcrest Drive) with Rev. Drew Sweetman officiating.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the church from 10-11 AM on Friday.  Suggested Memorial:  The Fremont Area Community Foundation for the First Christian Reformed Church Endowment Fund.
