Sirrie Ruth (Baker) Buitendorp

Mrs. Sirrie Ruth Buitendorp, age 61 years of Holton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday evening, January 20, 2018 at her home.  She was born on August 11, 1956 in Muskegon, Michigan to Edward Doyle & Mary Jane (Grey) Baker.  She had been a bus driver for MATS, Pioneer Resources, Lang's, Muskegon Catholic Central, and Holton Public Schools.  Sirrie enjoyed music, knitting, animals, & traveling.  On July 17, 1993 she married Richard "Dick" Buitendorp, and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2011.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; by 2 sisters, Connie & Maxine; and by 1 brother, Davey.  Survivors include 4 children:  Rebecca Buitendorp of Holton, Wesley (Sara) Packer of Muskegon, Jennifer (Shaun) McNutt of Chesapeake, Virginia, Kristen (Ben) Parker of Montague; 4 grandchildren:  Little Sirrie, Benjamin, Logan, & Angela; 1 brother, David Baker of Muskegon; her life partner, Mark Bulson of Holton; 1 uncle, Britton Beverley of Norton Shores; and Papa G, Gordon Gutkowski of Norton Shores.  Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.  Suggested Memorial:  Bellwether Harbor.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-WolffisFuneral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
