Thomas "Tom" Alan Landells, age 81 years of White Cloud, passed away on November 4, 2017 at home with Kay and daughter Terri by his side. He was born on November 16, 1935 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Thomas and Marie Landells. Tom and Kay's amazing journey is now on hold. Tom married Shirley Vernia in 1954, and she preceded him in death. Tom was a lifetime member of the Croton Legion, long time member of Eagles Club 526 Branch in Kalamazoo. Tom was a Marine, Semper Fi, and he worked for several years as a sheriff for Kalamazoo County where he earned almost perfect marksmanship medals. He retired from Eaton Fuller in Galesburg in 1998, and shortly after he and Shirley moved to White Cloud full time. Soon after Shirley and Rich passed away, Tom and Kay started their lives together. Tom fought cancers, diabetes, dementia and strokes. They fought them together.
