Timothy David Bancroft, Jr.

Mr. Timothy David Bancroft, Jr., age 50 years of Hesperia, passed away after a short illness late Sunday evening, January 15, 2017 at his home. He was born on November 30, 1966 in Fremont, Michigan to Timothy David & Linda Sue (Newville) Bancroft. Tim was a US Army Veteran of Desert Storm, he had been a brick layer for many years, and he loved to ice fish. On June 14, 2014 he married Rhonda L. Burke and she survives him along with 1 daughter, Zoe Bancroft of Hesperia; his father, Timothy David Bancroft of Hesperia; grandparents, Sue Newville Weersing & Robert Weersing of Hesperia; 1 sister, Cari Bancroft of Hesperia; 1 brother, Jason (Sally) Bancroft of Traverse City; his mother-in-law, Norma Burke of Pentwater; 2 sisters-in-law, Annette (Ray) Gilbert & Ranee Billings both of Hesperia; by several nieces & nephews, and by 4 great nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Sue Bancroft on June 30, 2016; by his grandfather, J.C. Newville; and by his nephew, T.J. Walker. There will be a brief Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Hesperia American Legion Post, followed by a luncheon and time to visit with the family until 5 PM on Saturday.
