Velinda Ann (Wilson) Brown

Mrs. Velinda Ann Brown, age 45 years of Hesperia, passed away on Wednesday night, February 1, 2017 at Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Hospital in Fremont. She was born on October 27, 1971 in Fairplay, Colorado to Richard & Shirley (Beardsley) Wilson. Velinda had worked as a CNA at the local nursing homes. She loved camping & fishing with her family and listening to country music. Velinda will be remembered for her fun loving, warmhearted personality, as well as her willingness to help anybody she could. Velinda was married to James Frank Brown, and he preceded her in death on February 23, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her father, Richard Wilson in 1995, and her sister, MorlaDee Wilson in 1978. Velinda is survived by her mother, Sirley Wilson; 5 children: Jaime Brown of Mears, Michigan, Katie Brown of White Cloud, Melinda Brown-McLain of White Cloud, Kaylin McLain of Bitely, and Nick McLain of White Cloud; 3 Grandchildren: Douglas, Nevaeh, and Steven; 3 sisters: Jeanette (Randy) King of Indiana, Bobbie (James) Palmer of Hesperia, Yvonne (James) Cubbit of White Cloud; Special Friend, Chuck Palms of Hesperia; many nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. A Memorial Luncheon will take place at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Sherman Township Hall (2168 S. Wisner Avenue). Suggested Memorial: The Brown Family to help with expenses.
