Steven "Steve" Paul Horner

Steven "Steve" Paul Horner, age 76 of Fremont, passed away on Friday evening, March 8, 2024 at his home.  He was born on November 9, 1947 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Frank "Jack" & Mary-Frances "Fran" (Dixon) Horner.  Steve graduated from Sparta High School in 1966 where he lettered in cross country, and he was currently on the Sparta High School Class Reunion Committee.  He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, and he was a World War II history buff.  Steve had been a Regional Operations Manager for C & M Core (Modine) in Orlando, Florida.  He loved baseball & golf, and he was a longtime fan of Michigan Wolverines Football and the Detroit Lions.  Steve is survived by his wife, Pam Horner of Fremont, who he married on December 17, 1998; 2 children:  Jessica (Jeff) Harris of Orlando, Florida, Steven Horner, Jr. of Fremont; and by 2 brothers.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and by 1 brother.  According to his wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given in his memory to the Sparta High School Track & Cross Country Boosters.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
