Aina Osborne

Mrs. Aina L. Osborne, age 81 years of Muskegon, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family early Sunday morning, January 21, 2018 at the Poppen Hospice Residence in Muskegon.  She was born on November 10, 1936 in Muskegon, Michigan to John & Evelyn (Bates) Stalsberg.  Aina was proud of being Norwegian, and she enjoyed embroidering, crocheting, cribbage, bingo, & adult coloring.  She was married to Wayt Whitesell and he preceded her in death in 1971.  On February 14, 1987 she married Walter Osborne and he survives her along with 3 children:  Tina (Martin) Gilmore, Alfreda "Ruth" Taylor, Jimmy Whitesell; 3 step-children:  Walter (Iris) Osborne II, Lori Osborne, & Kevin Osborne; 9 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Lynda Buckner & Mary (Stan) Strait.  She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Edward Taylor in April of 2017; by her parents; and by 2 brothers, John & Ronald Stalsberg.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Hill officiating.  Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday.  Interment will be in the Spring in Sherman Township Cemetery.  Suggested Memorial:  Wounded Warrior Project.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
