Alma Janet (Goodyke) Scott

On August 3, 2019 Alma Janet Scott joined her husband Gerrit in Heaven.  Alma was born on November 16, 1924 to the late Rev. Herman and Gertrude (VanNoord) Goodyke.  Alma was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Virginia Goodyke; by her brother-in-law, Mike Witte; and by her sister-in-law, Lorraine Scott.  Alma will be greatly missed by her son Donald Scott, and by her daughter Mary Wierenga along with her son-in-law Glen Wierenga.  She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren:  Jennifer, Matthew, and Chris Scott, Heather (Brad) Fackler, & Kristin (Tim) Hileman; by her great grandchildren:  Aaron, Ethan, Nolan, Leah, Eli, and Addyson; by her sister-in-law, Sylva Witte; and by her brother-in-law, Wayne Scott.  Alma was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church of Fremont where she played the organ in worship and accompanied the choir for many years.  The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the First Christian Reformed Church of  Fremont at 2:00 PM with Rev. Drew Sweetman officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church 1 hour prior to the service.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Memorial contributions may be given to the First Christian Reformed Church of Fremont.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
