Alma Fern (Rice) Tice

Alma Fern Tice, 92 of Fremont, surrounded by her 4 daughters at home, went peacefully to the arms of Jesus on Sunday evening, July 7, 2019.  Alma was born at home in Kingsley, Michigan on April 21, 1927 to Claribel and Andrew Rice.  She was a devoted Avon lady for 30 years in the Fremont Area.  She was also a volunteer driver for FIA, COA, and Mental Health.  Alma was a charter member of Faith Bible Church of White Cloud.  The love of Jesus and her family was very important to her.  She enjoyed crocheting many blankets for loved ones and for Hospice of Michigan.  Alma also enjoyed her lap dog of over 16 years, Allie Mae, and spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her former husband of 48 years, William Tice, on August 4, 2017.  Alma was also preceded in death by her parents, Claribel and Andrew Rice; by her brothers:  John, Joey, Frank, & Owen; by her sister, Wanda; and by her grandson, Prince Benjamin.  She leaves behind her daughters:  Berniece (Robert) Judd of North Muskegon, Florenda Coleman of Muskegon, Fonda (James) Schupper of Pennsylvania, and Billie (Patrick) Perry of Fremont.  She also leaves 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and sisters Mary Tice of Muskegon, Helen Manley of Florida.  A Private Graveside Service has taken place per her request at Sherman Township Cemetery.  Suggested Memorials:  Faith Bible Church of White Cloud, or Hospice of Michigan.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
