Alvin B. Veverka

Mr. Alvin B. Veverka, age 94 years of Fremont, passed away on Thursday evening, November 9, 2017 at his home.  He was born on May 9, 1923 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Frank & Francis (Moshier) Veverka.  Alvin was a US Army Veteran of World War II, and he had been a truck driver for Signal Trucking Company in St. Joseph, MI. for many years until his retirement.  On April 26, 1946 he married Carrie Emma Mundt and she preceded him in death on September 28, 2012.  He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters & 1 brother.  Alvin is survived by 3 sons:  Charles (Suzanne) Veverka, Jerry (Phyllis) Veverka, David (Kathy) Veverka; several grandchildren & great grandchildren, and twin great great grandchildren.  The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Davidson Chapel, 249 E. Center Street, Coloma, Michigan  49038.  Visitation will also be at the Davidson Chapel from 12-1 PM on Wednesday.  Interment will be at North Shore Memory Gardens in Hagar Township, Michigan.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Local arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
