Carol Kalsbeek

Carol Kalsbeek, 85, passed away on May 24, 2017 at Green Acres Assisted Living Facility in Fremont.  She was a lifelong resident of Fremont with the last two years living at Green Acres. 

She was born on December 22, 1931 in Fremont to Herman and Laura (Meeuwenberg )  Boeskool.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Harold, his son Tim, and her five siblings.  She is survived by her children Gale Dyer, Al (Cheryl) Van Hemert and Doug Van Hemert all of Fremont, her stepchildren, Jane (George) Vogel of Fremont, Joyce (Dave) Guikema of Belding, and Tom Kalsbeek of Grand Rapids, one brother Bob(Mary) Boeskool, and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren

According to Carol’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont. You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
