Charles "Chuck" R. Poll

Mr. Charles "Chuck" R. Poll, age 90 years of Croton, went to be with his Lord & Savior late Monday evening, November 5, 2018.  He was born on April 6, 1928 in Fremont, Michigan to John & Gertie (Brookhouse) Poll.  Chuck had been an independent milk hauler for many years, and then worked at Speas in Fremont until his retirement.  He was also a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont.  He is survived by his wife Shirley, who he married on March 7, 1998; 3 daughters:  Bonnie (Rich) Storms of Bridgeton, Jan (Rick) DuMont of Fremont, Sandy Wright (John Greer) of Fremont; 9 grandchildren & 24 great grandchildren; 2 step-children:  Debra (Bill) Vicary of Leslie, MI., Harold (Annette) Tittler of Jackson, MI.; 4 step-grandchildren & 6 step-great grandchildren; and 1 sister, Evelyn (Grant, Jr.) Parsons of Fremont.  Chuck was preceded in death by his son, Gael Poll; by his grandson, Christopher DuMont; brothers, Henry & George Poll; and by his sisters, Janet Wolfsen Porter & Marie Frens Hansen.  The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 9, 2018 at First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont with Rev. Drew Sweetman officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church from 12-1 PM on Friday.  Interment will be at St Bartholomew Cemetery in Newaygo.  Suggested Memorial:  The First Christian Reformed Church Endowment Fund at the Fremont Area Community Foundation.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
