Donna Marie (Clark) Smith

Mrs. Donna Marie Smith, age 86 years of Fremont, passed away on Tuesday evening, February 7, 2017 at Green Acres Assisted Living in Fremont.  She was born on October 16, 1930 in Hesperia, Michigan to Clifford & Clara (Fairchild) Clark.  Donna had been employed by Gerber Products Company for 39 years until her retirement, she was a member of First Congregational Church of Fremont, and she had been a member of the Women of the Fremont Moose Lodge #1555.  On March 28, 1953 she married William F. Smith and he preceded her in death on June 23, 2010.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, and by her brother Ivan Clark.  Donna is survived by her daughter, Ramona (Terry) Deters of Fremont; 2 grandchildren:  Ashleigh (Scott) Vogel, Chase (Lauren) Deters; 2 great grandchildren, Addison Marie & Elise K. Vogel; brothers & sisters;  Mort Clark, Annabelle Findley, Dale (Mary) Clark, her twin sister Mona Bush, Beverly Curtis, Marlene Harrold, Larry Clark; and many nieces & nephews including a special niece, Jill VandenBerg.  A Celebration of Donna's life will take place at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at First Congregational Church of Fremont (714 Hillcrest Drive) with Pastor Steve Summerfield officiating.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Visitation will also be at the church from 1:30-3 PM on Saturday.  Suggested Memorial: Hospice of Michigan - Newaygo County.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
