Edward Louis Cole

Mr. Edward Louis Cole, age 80 of Hesperia, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, October 15, 2019 at his home.  He was born on February 9, 1939 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Milton & Sophia (DeVine) Cole.  Ed had been employed at Steelcase for 28 years until his retirement in 1995.  He enjoyed fishing, and visiting his great grandchildren in Florida.  On November 8, 1958 he married Karen Irene Peterson and she preceded him in death on February 17, 2009.  He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Steven Lee Cole, Jr.; by his great granddaughter, Marissa; and by 1 brother & 3 sisters.  Ed is survived by 4 children:  Edward (Laura) Cole, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, Steven (Brenda) Cole of Rothbury, Michigan, Randy (Laurie) Cole of Cape Coral, Florida, Lori (James) Franklin of Hesperia; 7 grandchildren & many great grandchildren; and by 1 sister, Sunny Rider.  There will be a time of visiting with the family from 3-6 PM on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Hesperia American Legion Post.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
