Edward Luke Sokolowski

Mr. Edward Luke Sokolowski, age 61 of Bitely, passed away on Monday afternoon, May 6, 2019 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont.  He was born on March 21, 1958 in Fremont, Michigan to Frank & Betty (Smith) Sokolowski.  Ed had been employed for many years by Slocum Brothers Tree Farm.  He loved farming and spending time with his grandchildren.  Ed was preceded in death by his parents, and by his brother Lewis Sokolowski.  He is survived by 1 daughter, Julie (Brian) Roberson of Hesperia; 2 grandchildren, Keegan & Autumn; brothers:  Jake (Debbie) Sokolowski of Midland, PA., Mitchell (Elaine) Sokolowski of Muskegon, MI., Joseph (Linda) Sokolowski of Bitely, MI., Frank (Vickie) Sokolowski of Twin Lake, MI., Roy (Susan) Sokolowski of Whitehall, MI., Arthur (Sherri) Sokolowski of Montague, MI., Mark (LuAnne) Sokolowski of Bitely, MI., Andrew (Caren) Sokolowski of Linden, MI.; sister,  Linda (John) Cook of Montague, MI; sister-in-law, Crindia Sokolowski of Walkerville, MI.; and by many nieces & nephews.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home with Pastor Lucky Fulton officiating.  Interment will be in Volney Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Wednesday.  Suggested Memorial:  Heartland Hospice - Newaygo County.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
