Eileen Mae (Platt) Sweet

Mrs. Eileen Mae Sweet, age 83 of Holton, passed away on Monday evening, May 27, 2019 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont.  She was born on July 4, 1935 in Fremont, Michigan to Leon & Viva (Bisard) Platt.  On October 26, 1954 she married Del Sweet and he survives her along with 2 children:  Douglas Sweet of Hesperia, Kimberly (Wayne) Luchies of Fremont; 4 grandchildren:  Derick (Bobbie) Sweet, Carissa (Ely) Campbell, Carla (Ben) Chaback, Brandi (Darrel) Sweet; 6 great grandchildren:  Ethan, Tyler, Clara, Emily, Zayden, & Willow; 2 sisters:  Audrey Hopkins of Fremont, Joanne Castle of Newaygo; and many nieces & nephews.  Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, and by her brother-in-law Robert Castle.  The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Bierenga officiating.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Thursday.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Suggested Memorial:  TrueNorth Community Services.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
