Eugene "Gene" Gerald Mohrbach

Mr. Eugene "Gene" Gerald Mohrbach, age 61 years of Fremont, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, December 28, 2016 at Medilodge of Monroe, Michigan.  He was born on October 14, 1955 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Eugene "Gene" W. & Margaret B. (Herron) Mohrbach.  Gene was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont.  He had most recently been employed by Meijer in North Muskegon.  He had also been employed by Walmart in Fremont, by Endicott Johnson/Noble Shoes in Indiana, and by Martin's Supermarkets in Indiana.  Survivors include 3 children:  Christopher (Kara) Mohrbach of N. Webster, Indiana, Mandy-Jo (Adam) Montgomery of Osceola, Indiana, Tim (Jen) Mohrbach of Osceola, Indiana; 4 grandchildren:  Noyel, Andrew, Owen, & Chloe Montgomery; sisters & brothers:  Deb (Rick) France, Nancy (Ted) Woodward, Mike (Liziel) Mohrbach, Vicky Cory, Duane (Beverly) Mohrbach, Donna (Gregg) DeLong, Jim Mohrbach, Penny (Scott) Tubergen; and by his former wife, Laura Zerlaut.  Gene was preceded in death by his parents; by his sister, Sheila Mohrbach; and by his brother-in-law, Chris Cory.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont (500 Iroquois Drive) with Fr. Sahaya Stanly as Celebrant.  Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery near Fremont.  Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 6-8 PM on Tuesday.  Suggested Memorial:  St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
