Francis (Frank) A. Comeau

Mr. Frank A. Comeau, age 81 years of Fremont, passed away on Wednesday evening, January 10, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on April 28, 1936 in Madawaska, Maine to Edmund & Louise (Melanin) Comeau.  Frank was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, and he loved fishing, deer hunting, and woodworking  He had been employed at Story Chemical Company in Muskegon, Hesperia Department of Public Works, and he retired from the Muskegon Department of Public Works in 2001.  He had also been a volunteer for the Hesperia Fire Department.  On June 7, 1958 he married Barbara Joan Golden and she preceded him in death on January 25, 2015.  He was also preceded in death by his parents; by 2 brothers, Charles "Chuck" & Donald Comeau; and by 1 sister, Jackie.  Frank is survived by 3 children:  Sherry (Tim) Harper of Fremont, Colette Comeau of Greenwood, SC, Walter "Skip" Comeau of Greenwood, SC, 4 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters:  Mary "Betty" Simmons of Florida, Susan Jackson of Texas; several brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, nieces & nephews.  There will be a time of visiting with the family at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 12-2 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2018 with Military Honors provided by the US Air Force at 2 PM on Saturday.  Suggested Memorial:  Bellwether Harbor.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
