Jan Elizabeth (Kidner) Ross

Mrs. Jan Elizabeth Ross, age 76 of Fremont, passed away on Saturday morning, January 19, 2019 at her home.  She was born on January 1, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Walter D. & Anna M. (Trondle) Kidner, Jr.  Jan had an entrepreneur spirit and started the Sears Store in Fremont, as well as owning Gold Key Realty in Fremont.  She is survived by 2 children:  Morris (Arcee) Ross of N. Carolina, Michelle Ross of Fremont; daughters-in-law:  JoAn Ross of Fremont & Julie Ross of Indiana; 10 grandchildren:  Teresa (Dustin) Nadeau, Graham Ross, Dylan Ross, Miranda (Sean) Cope, Aimee Ross, Cayce Ross, Eli Ross, Jacob Ross, Emily Ross, & Anna Ross; many great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews; and her former husband, Allan Ross of Fremont.  Jan was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Ross; by her parents; and by her brother, Walter "Bud" Kidner III.  According to her wishes cremation has taken place, and a celebration of her life will take place at 11:00 AM on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the funeral home from 10:30-11:00 AM on Sunday.  Interment will be at Ferndale Cemetery in Riverview, Michigan.  Suggested Memorials:  Alzheimer's Association, Autism Speaks, or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
