My senior year of high school I worked afternoons with Mrs. Brookens in the High School office for the work study program. And, I have run into her once or twice since then and she always remembered me. She was so kind and always had a wonderful smile on her face! I am blessed to have known her!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mrs. Brookens will be remembered by thousands of students who attended Fremont HS. Her warm smile, comforting demeanor, helpful attitude for all, and her warm personality came through for all, and were exactly what all students needed when entering the office. We were all blessed by her presence! On behalf of the Kent kids (Kenny, Kevin, and Karla), please know that you are in our hearts.

Galen, so sorry to hear, our prayers are with you and your loving family. My Mom, Claire Cushnie is 92 and in LTC with Altzheimers. My Dad, George Cushnie passed away 5 years ago on Christmas Day. I remember your visit to our house when we took you and Jan on a pontoon ride on the Susquehanna. Jan loved seeing the Eagles.
