Mr. Jerry Jack Wolffis, age 82 of Muskegon, entered the Church Triumphant on Sunday morning, December 23, 2018. He was born on May 9, 1936 in Muskegon, Michigan to Jack & Lucille (Bolthouse) Wolffis. Jerry was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War, and he was a member of First Reformed Church of Ravenna where he had served several terms as an Elder. He had been employed by Clarke Floor Machine and National Oil Sales, and he had been an auto mechanic on the side. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Bonnie Wolffis; by his children: Ken (Jane) Wolffis of Fremont, Kurt (Tracie) Wolffis of Fruitport, Kari (Dana) Young of Walker; by his wife's daughters: Michelle (Dennis) Lakatos of Fruitport, Sandra (David) Lahnala of Adrian; 11 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and by his sister Myra Bell. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 28, 2018 at First Reformed Church of Ravenna with Pastor Steve VanderWoude officiating. Visitation will also be at the church from 10-11 AM on Friday. Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Muskegon. Suggested Memorial: First Reformed Church of Ravenna Memorial Fund.
