John R. Sietsema, Sr.

Mr. John R. Sietsema, Sr., age 78 of Bitely & formerly of Muskegon, went to be with his Lord suddenly on Friday, October 25, 2019 from his home.  He was born on June 10, 1941 in Muskegon, Michigan to Jay & Lucille (Richardson) Sietsema.  John was a US Air Force Veteran.  He had been a supervisor at Viking Foods in Muskegon for many years until his retirement, and he was a member of Amazing Grace Acres Church.  John was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, & great grandfather who enjoyed spending time with family, and will be dearly missed by his wife, Bonnie; children:  Cindi (Mike) Morris, John (Jammie) Sietsema, Jr., David (Brenda) Bean, Randy (Lee Anne) Bean; 6 grandchildren:  Michael Morris, Mataya Sietsema, Ella Sietsema, Brandon Bean, Justin (Ella) Bean, Austin (Kaitlyn Pettyjohn) Bean; 1 very special great grandson, Gavin Bean; 1 brother, Jim (Lorraine) Sietsema; and by many nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher Franklin; by his parents; by his brothers, David & Phil; and by his sisters, Lorraine & Carol.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Second Christian Reformed Church in Fremont with Pastor Lucky Fulton officiating.  Interment will be at Restlawn Cemetery in Muskegon.  Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, and from 10-11 AM on Wednesday at church.  Suggested Memorial:  Amazing Grace Acres Church.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
