Kathleen "Kathie" Ruth Jordan

Kathleen "Kathie" Ruth Jordan, age 77 of Fremont & formerly of Grand Rapids, went to meet Jesus on Tuesday morning, August 20, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born on June 13, 1942 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Kathie was retired from Goodwill Industries, and she was loved by many for her kindness and generosity.  She will be dearly missed by her brother Robert (Gay) Jordan, by her sister Marianne Olson, and by several nieces & nephews.  She will also be dearly missed by a special family friend Bertie Bykerk & her family, along with many of her Long Lake friends.  Kathie was preceded in death by her mother  Dorothy Jordan, and by her brother-in-law Doug Olson.  The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Second Christian Reformed Church in Fremont with Rev. Gary VanKoevering officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church from 1-2 PM on Saturday.  Interment will be in Sherman Township Cemetery.  Suggested Memorial:  Newaygo County Compassion Home.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
