Lance Burgess Moon

Mr. Lance Burgess Moon, age 38 years of Croton, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from injuries that he sustained in a motorcycle accident.  He was born on December 28, 1978 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Danial & Gayle (Burgess) Moon.  Lance graduated from Fremont High School in 1997.  He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Oil Painting from Kendall School of Art and Design, and he completed his Masters of Fine Arts in Graphite in 2012.  Lance was currently employed at Hi-Tech Fastners.  He is survived by his daughter, Simone Austin Moon; parents, Dan & Gayle Moon of Fremont; sister, Hillary Danielle (D.B.) Sanders of Indianapolis, Indiana; 2 nieces, Colbie & Sydney Sanders; his maternal grandfather, John Burgess of Grant; and by many aunts, uncles, & cousins.  Lance was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph & Florence Moon; by his maternal grandmother, Alvena Burgess; and by his cousin, Heidi Derks-Rehmann.  A Celebration of Lance's Life will take place at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 29, 2017 at All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont (500 Iroquois Drive) with Fr.
