Laura Jean (Graham) Post

Mrs. Laura Jean Post, age 94 years of Hesperia, passed away at her home early Monday morning, July 16, 2018 surrounded by her family.  She was born on August 27, 1923 in Fremont, Michigan to Harry & Mary (Schotts) Graham.  She had owned & operated White Lake Marina, Post Auto Sales, Body Shop, & Excavating.  She was also a life member of the Hesperia American Legion Post 411 Auxiliary.  On August 25, 1940 she married Harold Post and he preceded her in death on December 14, 1994.  She later married Chuck Burns and after 12 years of marriage he preceded her in death on September 8, 2011.  She was also preceded in death by 2 daughters:  Carol & husband Bill Maynard, Kay & husband Ron Piper; 2 sons, Robert & Randy Post; 2 grandchildren, Teri McLouth & Frank Beyer; 1 great granddaughter, Macenzee Rasmussen; 3 sisters:  Bonnie Smith, Josephine Smith, & Tommy (Marie) Dougan; and by her brother, Clyde Graham.  Survivors include 2 sons:  Raymond (Mary Kay) Post, Wilford Post; 2 daughters:  Marva (Jeff) Wilson, Charlotte (Nick) Beyer; her daughter-in-law, Gettus Post; 40 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, & 9 great great grandchildren; 1 sister, Betty (Polly) Clark; and by many nieces & nephews.  The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home with her son, Raymond Post, officiating.  Visitation will also be at the funeral home from 1-2 PM on Thursday.  Interment will be in Lincoln Township Cemetery.  Suggested Memorials:  Spectrum Health Hospice, or the Hesperia American Legion Post 411 Auxiliary.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
