Lorraine Mae (Vanderwall) Scott

Mrs. Lorraine Mae Scott, age 81 years of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening, May 5, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon.  She was born on October 20, 1935 in Munster, Indiana to Andrew & Jennie (VanDruinen) VanderWall.  Lorraine was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont, where she had been involved in the Friendship Group, Project Philip, and where she was co-chair of the Ladies Service Committee.  She also loved to fish.  On July 11, 1958 she married Wayne G. Scott and he survives her along with 4 children:  Sandra (Paul) Boersma of Milwaukee, WI., Steven (Michelle) Scott of Livonia, MI., Sally (Charles LeHew) Scott of Chicago, IL., Keith (Julia) Scott of Rockford, MI.; 8 grandchildren; 1 brother, Eugene (Shirley) VanderWall of Sacramento, CA.; and 2 sisters-in-law, Sylva Witte & Alma Scott both of Fremont.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont (721 Hillcrest Drive) with Pastor Drew Sweetman officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church from 4-7 PM on Monday.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Suggested Memorial:  The Fremont Area Community Foundation for the Fremont Christian School Endowment Fund.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
