Marilyn J. (Wishman) Vanderstelt

Mrs. Marilyn J. Vanderstelt, age 79 years of Fremont, went to be with her Lord & Savior early Wednesday morning, January 18, 2017.  She was born on February 25, 1937 in Niagara, Wisconsin to Bernard & Fern (Martin) Wishman.  Marilyn attended Country Bible Church, and she had been a homemaker as well as cleaning homes for others.  She loved to read, dance, & sing.  On April 3, 1954 she married William E. "Bill" Vanderstelt and he preceded her in death on August 29, 2015.  She was also preceded in death by her son, William "Bill" Vanderstelt in 2013; by her daughter-in-law, Dianne Vanderstelt; by her parents; and by her brothers, Dave & Dick Wishman.  Marilyn is survived by 3 children:  Mary (John) Backensto of Muskegon, Kenneth Vanderstelt of Florida, Sandra Vanderstelt of Fremont; daughter-in-law, Beverly Vanderstelt of Custer, MI.; 2 grandchildren, Melissa & Daniel Tibbitts; great grandson, Blake Dean; sisters & brothers:  Marge Dodson, Ron Wishman, Gary (Donna) Wishman, Jan Jones, Sandy Fredenberg, Otto Wishman, Jennifer (Hank) Beers, & Katherine Wishman.  A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Country Bible Church (3145 W. 24th Street).  Suggested Memorial:  The Vanderstelt Family to help with medical expenses.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
