Otto Anderlohr, Jr. Obituary

Mr. Otto C. Anderlohr, Jr., age 86 of White Cloud, passed away on Monday morning, October 1, 2018 at the home of his son in Reed City.  He was born on August 17, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to Otto F. & Tillie (Lipkaman) Anderlohr.  He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War, and he was a member of First Baptist Church of Newaygo.  Otto was a hobby farmer, and he enjoyed spending time with his family which included going on walks around Fremont Lake and stopping for ice cream afterwards.  On June 25, 1955 he married Arlene Joyce Patterson and she preceded him in death on April 25, 2017.  He was also preceded in death by several brothers & sisters.  Otto is survived by his children who he so dearly loved:  Kathy (Ev) Rein of Edwardsville, Illinois, James (Cathleen) Anderlohr of Reed City, Michigan; 1 sister, Dolores DeLong of Fremont, Michigan; and 1 brother-in-law, Bud (Marilyn) Patterson of Grant, Michigan.  To celebrate Otto's life, a memorial visitation and luncheon will be held at First Baptist Church of Newaygo from 12-2 PM on Saturday, October 6, 2018.  Interment will be in Lincoln Township Cemetery.  Suggested Memorial:  The Alzheimer's Association.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
