Paula (Smith) Anthony

Mrs. Paula Anthony, age 91 of Fremont, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont.  She was born on November 7, 1927 in Fremont, Michigan to Earl & Marguerite (Froelich) Smith.  On June 28, 1947 she married Harold Anthony, and together they owned & operated Anthony Orchards for many years.  She also attended Fremont United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed spending winters in Texas.  Survivors include her husband, Harold Anthony; 3 children:  Diane (Whitney) Wolcott of Gobles, MI., Alan (Kathy) Anthony of Wyoming, MI., Vicki (Douglas) Alcumbrack of Bitely, MI.; many grandchildren & great grandchildren; 1 sister, Miriam Rasmussen of Petoskey, MI.; and 1 brother, Owen (Nancee) Smith of Florida.  The family would like to thank Spectrum Health Hospice for the care they provided over the past several months.  To celebrate her life, there will be a time of visiting with the family from 1-3 PM on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home.  Suggested Memorial:  Spectrum Health Hospice.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
