Raymond Eugene Cook

Mr. Raymond Eugene Cook, age 85 years of Howard City, passed away on Thursday afternoon, December 29, 2016 at Peaceful Acres Adult Foster Care Home.  He was born on July 21, 1931 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Benjamin Milton & Neva Mae (Phelps) Cook.  Raymond enjoyed working on the family farm from 1945 - 1975, and he loved to play pool & kings corner with his friends at Peaceful Acres.  He attended Pine Grove Christian Reformed Church, and he loved to read his Bible and spend time with his family.  Raymond is survived by his nephew, Dave Cook of Newaygo; by his niece, Jan (Gerald Etkind) Cook of Grand Rapids; by his great nephews & nieces:  Benjamin (April) Cook of Tampa, Florida, Jordan Cook of Tampa, Florida, Ashley Cook of Seattle, Washington; and by his sister-in-law, Phyllis Cook of Kentwood.  He was preceded in death by his parents; by his brothers:  Benjamin Cook, Martin Cook, & Milton "Mike" Cook; and by his good friend, Howard.  Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.  Suggested Memorial:  Peaceful Acres Adult Foster Care Home.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
